Start of Season Rally
BSDNL Committee would like to thank all the players, umpires, spectators and helpers who made the Paula Harrison Charity Tournament such a great morning of netball! The weather threw some heavy thundery showers at us before and during the matches but this didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits.
Eighteen teams took to court and after 14 rounds of netball, Sparks 1 and Richmond played off in the final with Sparks 1 being crowned worthy winners.
£710 was raised, £130 from the raffle and £580 from entry fees with the league covering the cost of the courts. This will be split between the air ambulance and breast cancer charities. Thanks you once more to everyone who contributed.
