Welcome to the BSDNL winter league 2025/26. We have 8 matches planned every Sunday which should assist with umpiring demands. The spare four courts will be utilised when needed for matches cancelled due to bad weather, we will give teams as much notice as possible for re arranged matches. The season will finish on 19th April ‘26 and any outstanding matches will be decided as per the rules.
Score cards will be available when you play your first match. Please ensure
1. All names are clearly printed.
2. Team name AND NUMBER is entered clearly.
3. Card is dated
4. Card is submitted by 8pm Sunday evening.
Each club will be sent a link to spreadsheets, the clubs will be divided into multiple teams and single teams. This enables each club to see who is registered and how many play ups they have had. If you want to add another player you need to complete the form by midday on the preceding Saturday.
A signature sheet will be sent to each club. This needs to be signed and returned on the first match date.
We would like to remind all players that the sports centre is situated in a residential area so please be respectful of the residents at all times and ensure you arrive after 9a.m. on a Sunday morning and keep noise levels to a minimum. The centre is part of the school so strictly,
NO DOGS ALLOWED AND NO SMOKING OR VAPING PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES.
Please remind all scorers to stand several feet back from the edge of the courts so they have a clear view of the court but have time to react to any wayward balls or players. They should pay attention to the court play at all times to minimise their risk of injury. At present, with well briefed scorers we feel the risk of injury is minimal and EN affiliation is not required but this decision will be reviewed on a regular basis.
Cancellations due to weather will be sent by text on the secretary chat and also posted on Facebook. We are hoping to make more use of Facebook this year so please feel free to add comments and join in the general chat about netball.
Should you experience problems at any time during the season please contact us immediately through our email [email protected].
